General introduction

What JUX Real Estate ?

JUX Real Estate is a JOOMLA component designed to fit a multitude of real estate related needs. It includes contracts for sale, mortgage agreements and assignments and liens. JUX Real Estate includes component, modules and plugins

How did this component come out?

When having real estate properties to sell or having demand of buying/renting them, you definitely will need a place where you can find and share all realty information. A realty website is what you are looking for. And our JUX Real Estate component can help you systematically and effectively organize your realty listing as well as other information on your site.
JUX Real Estate Component for whom?
JUX Real Estate is designed not only for companies or individuals doing business in real estate to post their realty’s information on the web, it is also for people who want to find information about realty, to find property to buy/or rent.

What do you get from JUX Real Estate?

You could create a semantic system with Countries, agents, owner and you – administrator.

Agents:
  • Agent is allowed to manage realties which users submitted to him.
  • Submit realties, Manage realties of other user
  • User need to register an agent with the plan that has different time limits.
Owner:
  • Submit realty to an agent or many agents
  • Receive notification email about realty that the user has just submitted
  • Allow to edit realty information.
Feature
  • User can register to become an agent & upload realty.
  • Manage realty from backend by administrator, from frontend by owner (agents).>
  • Manage agents from backend by administrator.
  • Add realty from backend by administrator, from frontend by agents in the frontend with property types, categories, states, countries, etc…
  • No limit in adding realty types, categories/sub-categories, realty, amenities, custom field groups and custom fields.
  • Google map V3 and driving directions for each realty.
  • Email form management.
  • Full Management In backend: administrator has full control of agents, realties, plan, countries, state… from backend.
  • Custom fields: for a specific realty. The custom field feature allows administrator to define custom fields and creators can use those fields as they desire. JUX Real Estate can help you create many types of fields: Textbox, Text area, Dropdown (single and multiple select lists), checkbox list, radio list, Date Time.
  • Dynamic email template: you could setup email template with placeholders which will be filled with information when email is actually sent. The feature is available for all emails sent to donors, creators and administrator. And creator could create unique email template for each realty.
  • Strongly integrated with JOOMLA! 3.0 permission system: you can control permission to add new, edit, edit state of all user groups or set access level for each realty and view page
  • Multi-payment gateways support: Currently, JUX Real Estate supports PayPal, 2CheckOut (for paid agent). We will continue on working and adding more payment gateways for this product in the near future. Social Share buttons: Users can share realty with their friends via many social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc…
  • Flexible configuration options: There are many configuration options which can be changed from JUX Real Estate Backend. That makes JUX Real Estate become a flexible & easy to use extension
  • Flexible frontend display: our component provides two layouts to display list of realties (Default vs. Table layout).
  • Multiple Templates system: our component can handle multi templates. You could create unique and different templates and change it anytime you want. Server Requirement

JUX Real Estate has several system requirements as follow:

  • Apache 2.0 or above - http://www.apache.org recommended: Apache 2.0 or above.
  • PHP 5.2.4 or above - http://www.php.net recommended: PHP 5.3 or above.
  • MySQL 5.0.4 or above - http://www.mysql.com recommended: MySQL 5.0.4 or above.
  • Joomla! 3.x. Please go to - http://www.joomla.org  download Joomla! 3.x.
  • You have to ensure that your system has already installed, XML and Zlib-Support built into your PHP.
  • PHP should be compiled with support for https (openSSL) and cURL.
  • PHP Safe Mode should be turned off.

Client Requirements

This module can run well on major browsers such as: Internet Explorer (version 10+), Firefox, Chrome, Opera 9+, and Safari. JavaScript must be activated.

The client/browser needs to be capable of accepting Cookies and Cookies must be enabled.

Module Installation

Go to Administrator site => “Extension” => “Extension Manager” in the Top Menu.

In “Upload Package File” block, please Upload & Install our extensions:

Package includes:

  • Com_jux_real_estate.zip: JUX Real Estate core component.  This is required.
  • plugins/plg_jspayment_paypal.zip: This is a payment plug-in, it allows users to do payment for paid agent via PayPal. This is required.
  • Additional modules: those modules allow you to display realty information, types, categories, search, map realty and agents in various styles.
  • Additional plug-ins: we provide some payment plug-ins in addition for PayPal plug-in.

Configuring General

As you have already read, JUX Real Estate has two core components: a Component and Module. Here are some important steps that you need when using our product:

  • Step 1: Please install the package JUX Real Estate on your site.
  • Step 2: After installation, go to the components JUX Real Estate and create Data

    2. Setup Contract (Category)

    Please create Contract for your Realties. This is category management

    3. Setup Currencies

    Currency is used in realty.  You need to create at least one currency for JUX Real Estate. All currencies are managed in Currency Management Panel.

    4. Setup Plans

    This is a way for a company or organization to make money by allowing user to register to become an agent (free or paid agent). The Plans are managed in Plans Management Panel.

    • Name: Plan’s name
    • Price: If price is 0 or left blank, this input means” free”. If price >0 then must choose currency type for your plan.
    • Days: The duration of your plan
    • Count Limit: Agent will be limited if number time submitting realties > count limit. If entering 0, it will be unlimited
    • Created Date: Plan’s created date
    • Publish up: Plan’s created date
    • Publish down: Plan’s end date to not display at frontend
    • Image: Plan’s image
    • Description: Plan’s description
    5. Setup Countries

    You can easy manages and search your realties by countries.

    6. Setup State

    You can create all states of a country that have Realties. It is a field in Realty when you create Realties.

    7. Setup Amenities

    If Your Realty provide information about amenities, please create at here and you can select them for a Realty.

    8. Setup Fields

    Extra fields are used in realty form. For example, you need to gather email of realty, you could create a custom field named jp_email land the title is Email for realty. All extra fields are managed in Field Management Panel.

    9. Setup Agents

    The new feature of JUX Real Estate is allowing user to register as an agent at frontend or admin can set up an agent at backend.

    10. Setup Realties

    All functions of our component based on the process of creating realty. Realties are managed in Realty Management Panel at Backend or at Frontend.

    On the Realty Management Panel, we setup all popular functions: Publish, Unpublished, Ordering… Besides, we add the Featured function. Realty that was featured can receive special promotion from your site.

    For example, you could create a menu or a module dedicated for featured realty only. (For more information, please see Creating Menu Items section or Modules & Plug-ins configuration section).

    You could add new or edit realty via Realty Edit Page.

    12. Configuration

    The Configuration Panel is the most important part of JUX Real Estate. It can be accessed via “JUX Real Estate Control Panel” => “Configuration”

    Note that the Configuration Panel can be accessed by Users with Permissions "admin" only (by default).

    You can access the different parts of the Configuration Panel by clicking on the Sub-menu Headings.

Manage realties that all users have submitted, you can create a menu item for users to use view their properties so that they can change the information they want.

Display all approved realties and realties published on Google Maps which is distinguished between realty’s types on Google Maps.

 

How to use component via module

1.  JUX Real Estate Map Realty

You can show Realties on map, with option for zoom, height, show/hide icon bar and enter location of map.

This backend of module, you can configure it with tab module and Tab Data Source.

With this module, it will list recent property. Configure of module very simple and you can show all information for Realties on slider. You can show Realties follow full width or Slide bar Style

How to use plugin for payment

After install package Real Estate. Please go to plugin manage and publish them the below

1. PayPal Plug-in

This is a payment plug-in. It allows users to register an agent via PayPal method.

Detail
  • Test mode: If yes, the payment through this plug-in will go to PayPal Sandbox test instead of real payment page. Note: the Secure mode must be Yes for Test mode to perform correctly.
  • Secure mode: Use PayPal secure response URL.
  • PayPal Account: Your PayPal’s account.
  • Merchant image: Your merchant image URL.
  • Payment logo: PayPal Logo URL to show at payment listing.
  • Log IPN data: Log all the payment information to folder plugins/jserealestate/paypal/paypal/ipn_log.txt
  • No Shipping: Choose Yes for no shipping method, use this for intangible.
2. 2Checkout Plug-in

This is a payment plug-in. It allows users to register an agent via 2Checkout method.

  • Payment logo : 2Checkout Logo URL to show at payment listing.
  • Merchant ID: Your 2Checkout merchant image URL.
  • Secret Word: Your 2Checkout secret word.
  • Routin: 2Checkout routine, Single page for one step checkout, Multi page for multi-page checkout.
  • 2Checkout mode. Testing or Live.: Send email to merchant when new payment is placed.
