media queries

Hello I use version 1.0.4 of joux coming soon can you tell me or put the media queries to make it work. because they are not taken into account.
The've put dand ccs custom homepage.

@media(max-width:320px){.wrapper .main .vcb_messages {max-width:200px !important;}}
@media(max-width:375px){.wrapper .main .vcb_messages {max-width:230px !important;}}
@media(max-width:384px){.wrapper .main .vcb_messages {max-width:258px !important;}}
@media(max-width:414px){.wrapper .main .vcb_messages {max-width:258px !important;}}

why it does not work?
Or should I put snuff for what are considered ?
