how to reduce the border?

I fixed it for you. I did the below:
Go to.. modules/mod_jux_portfolio/assets.css line 277
.jux-portfolio .juxp-item .jux-textlayout {
margin-top: 0px;
padding: 2px;
box-sizing: border-box;
height: 100%;
}
and edit pading that you want.
Please check it and feedback to me again.

I found the setting for change the padding, and I try to insert 1px without result.
