file Timeline not displaying

Hello, I have a local Joomla 5.4 installation running in MAMP PRO 7.2.9 and have been trying to add a basic timeline using JUX Timeline Pro. This is just an historical timeline of the middle ages and early modern period from roughly 304 to the council of Trento, 1545. I don't want to customize anything nor add images, just the year and a description of important events.

I have tried to do this with just two entries to see how it looks. I want the module to be connected to a Joomla menu, Chronology.

I have had no success in getting the actual display to look like a connected vertical line. All I see is:

drive.google.com/file/d/1RlHUQBXvP6vSzhy.../view?usp=drive_link

In addition, what is the proper way to associate the module with a menu? The only choice that seemed to make sense was the article list, but I don't want to see that error message displayed either.

Would appreciate any suggestions,

Thanks, Al

Hi.
Thank you for contacting us.
We have relased a new version 1.0.1 to fix the issue with Joomla 6.
Now you can get that version and recheck it.
Regards.

Best regards.
Jackie Nguyen.

I still do not see any graphic representation of the line, just a list as before:

*
1545
Council of Trent (to 1563)
*
1536
last proposal of duel between princes

expand/collapse seems to be working, though.

Without any images, what precisely am I supposed to see? The old version (for Joomla 3) had colored rectangles connected to a central vertical trunk:

/////////
//1545//
*
///////// |
| /////////
*
//1536//
/////////

Thanks for your help,

Best, Al

Hi.
As I see, our module doesn't load the CSS for the front-end. It's so strange, it works fine on my Local with Joomla 6.
Can you give me the back-end module configuration? And please check the front-end source to make sure this file loads on your site.

Hi Jackie,

First I should specify that this is with Joomla 5.4, but I can try with Joomla 6.

What if I used Akeeba to create a backup of my local site and posted it (just for you) on my Google Drive? That way you can see directly by installing it. (I'd appreciate it afterwards if you would kindly destroy you copy as these are personal research notes which I don't wish to be accessible publicly).

Let me know if I should go ahead an do this.

Thanks, Al

P.S. I'm not sure if it makes a difference (I doubt it), but MAMP PRO splits the basic installation from the specific user install. (Or is that new Joomla doing it? I haven't kept up with Joomla since 3.10 ...). I don't see how that would cause a failure to load the .css, though.

Here is the .jpa for Joomla6 (only for Jackie).
Also, info on the installation (admin name, etc.)

I tried Joomla 6 and now I don't see anything at all :(.

P.S., I added a snapshot of the source in Safari. As you can see, you were correct about the .css not loading.

Note: gzip is not enabled for the site. Could that be the problem?

Hi.
I have installed your site on the localhost. The timeline pro module still works fine. I don't change anything with your config.
prnt.sc/NvEigw-Zlhy9

I tried both browsers, Chrome and Safari, and it still displays the module with the CSS. I don't see that issue as you have.
Can you share the video about the issue?
Regards.

Best regards.
Jackie Nguyen.
