Color settings not working on multiple tickers

Our client wishes to create multiple colored news tickers to indicate various levels of alerts on their site (red, orange, yellow, etc). We've successfully set up the initial ticker (ADVISORY RED) , but the second ticker (DWA-NOTICE ORANGE ) isn't displaying the color correctly. Can you have a look to see what may be going wrong?

To be more specific. We have multiple articles to be displayed in the news ticker, some the client wants to have a red background and others need to be orange depending on how urgent the alert is. We are having trouble getting the articles to show up in anything but the red background.

There will be some instances where they will need to have multiple alerts each with their own background color so we want to get this sorted out. Here is the link to an image I put together showing the back and front end of the issue prnt.sc/qy2am2
